It’s almost time for The Nexus!
Episode One, Arcanum City Secrets, has been officially scheduled for release on Friday, June 14th, and is available for preorder on Amazon now!
And I didn’t want you to have to wait and wait, so Episode Two, The Night Mare, will be out two weeks later, on Friday, July 5th. From there, the schedule will be the first Friday of every other month. Episode Two will be available for preorder too, very soon!
In Arcanum City Secrets, you’ll meet Kaden Kelly, a freelance writer who’s started a blog investigating all the strange, unexplained happenings in the city of Arcanum. He starts out seeking an explanation for the frequent blackouts and colorful lights in the night sky, but soon discovers those are the least of Arcanum’s mysteries!
If you missed my earlier post about this new series, the word “Episode” might have you wondering…
This new series, The Nexus, is a series of linked novellas, structured like a TV series. The nine books that make up Season One each have their own plot, but also build toward an ongoing season arc. If you enjoy fantasy TV series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Magicians, and Umbrella Academy, then I think you’ll enjoy this format. I’ve wanted to try this for a long time, and now that I have, I love it. I really hope you do too! The episodes aren’t as uniform in length as a TV show, admittedly, but the tone and structure are there.
Oh, and all books will also be available in (very thin) print editions, and everything will be available under Kindle Unlimited as well!
